This will complement a wider offer which will include:

  • Action research approach to emerging school needs
  • Walkthrus – using Tom Sherrington’s research to use instructional coaching techniques for monitoring learning.
  • Coaching sessions – Coaching offer in place through BPSI, to support leaders

9.00am Floyd Woodrow – Compass for Life
One of the youngest soldiers ever to have been selected for the elite SAS, Floyd Woodrow is now a renowned speaker on leadership and performance coaching world-wide. Floyd has an excellent track record of success as a Military Leader, Director, Non-Executive Director, Consultant and Negotiator. Floyd is challenging, supportive and totally committed to developing elite teams and individuals as well as offering practical and commercial value in strategic planning and execution.


1.30pm Sir Kevan Collins - Education Recovery Commisioner and Sir Alan Wood – advisor on stakeholder and implementation of recovery programme 
Sir Kevan Collins, former head of the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), has been appointed by the government  as its education recovery commissioner to lead a comprehensive programme of catch-up aimed at young people who have lost out on learning during the pandemic.

Sir Alan Wood served from 2006 to 2015 as the corporate director for Children and Young People's Services in the London Borough of Hackney.

The conference will be followed by a planning meeting for Renaissance project
