Who should attend:
Secondary school staff who work with vulnerable students

Outline/Objectives:

  • Reflect on the self - esteem & identity of young people you work with
  • Explore how a young person's core beliefs shape their self - concept, and ways to challenge their beliefs
  • Practical activities to strengthen a young person's identity & self - esteem
  • Introduce calming techniques for when a young person is experiencing intrusive negative thoughts about themselves
  • Discuss diversity and cultural differences in relation to young people's identity
